Many scheduled airlines fly to Faro, the closest international airport. Lagos is a straightforward 45 minute drive from Faro along a new motorway. Lisbon airport is 21/2 hours away as is Seville in Spain.

- Lagos station is five minutes walk from the apartment. Trains run regularly to Faro, where there is a shuttlebus to the airport (taxis also available). Lagos also connects at Faro with the new fast train to Lisbon and the north of the country.

- Lagos is 21/2 hours drive from Lisbon, one hour from the Spanish border, or 40 minutes from Faro airport - roads are dual carriageway all the way and the road signs are clearly marked. Cars can be hired from Avis, Europcar, Hertz or a host of local operators at the airport or in Lagos itself.
